Instantly Blog News Stories

By Ian Pelham

One of the most exciting, yet controversial, aspects of blogging is the ability to blog things just as they happen. The blogosphere is an active part of the internet and there is the ability to blog almost instantaneously.

Unlike news delivered by these types of media, blog news doesnt require editors and others who administrate the news so it gets to the public eye much faster. There are advantages and disadvantages to this medium.

One example where blogs hit the media before the press took place during the bombing of a London subway in July 2005.

As passengers were evacuated from a subway car near an explosion, one man took several photographs of the scene with his cellular phone, and within an hour these images were posted online.

The crisis felt really immediate to those who were reading it without the eyes of an editor on these raw pieces. The blogging was very personal to those who were reading it.

Blogging currently carries the potential of being a brand new form of journalism. It puts the power to shape the world in the hands of the average writer.

Many bloggers and cultural commentators who are champions of the weblog movement feel that this growing trend of individuals who getting their news from blogs is a good thing, because it makes the flow of information more democratic.

It decentralizes the world of news and allows more voices to debate on the issues at hand. Others, however, are just as adamant about not having this as a method of news dissemination.

Unlike the news reports, there are no fact checkers or editors to monitor whats being blogged about. There is practically no attention is paid to journalistic accountability. This can lead to the dissemination of bad information to others. More than one false piece of information is spread through the web.

The questions about whether blogging news as it happens is ethical or not are very complicated, but no matter where you stand on the topic of current events blogs you are almost sure to agree that this movement has the potential to revolutionize how modern people get their news.

Those who are interested in blogging will find that debt, consolidation and other financial topics are being blogged about. Techniques designed to help you make and manage your money are among the most popular topics for bloggers.

Falling into debt is all too easy, and getting out of debt can be very difficult for people who do not have a lot of financial expertise. For people who have a knack for dealing with finances, blogging about their insights and knowledge can be a great way to literally and figuratively share the wealth.

If you are trying to get into blogging, the topics of savings, debt, consolidation and investing topics are ones to consider blogging about. Many professional bloggers use advertising to blog every day about money and make a decent living off of it.

If you know all about load consolidation, negotiation of settlements with financial corporations or any other money topic, consider using what you know to be a successful blogger.

When you share what you know, you may be able to aid your readers in the process of getting out of debt while you make money from selling advertising space. - 16738
