For those of you who would like to be able to play a piece of music in the same way as other guitarists then you have to spend time on learning and developing the right legato techniques. It is important therefore you spend time practicing the pentatonic scales along with the 3 note per string scales.

As well as learning 2, 4 and 6 finger tapping techniques it is important that you learn the 8 one as well. In fact it is the 8 finger tapping technique which makes guitar playing sound so dramatic and along with playing it on the upper register learn to play it on the middle register and then combine the two together. Along with learning this techniques spend time learning how to tap arpeggios as this will increase the number of notes you can choose to play with.

When purchasing this piece of equipment you have the choice of purchasing one that stands on its own from your local music store or from an online one, or you can download metronome software onto your PC instead. As soon as you have the metronome you need to start practicing a particular solo piece of music and increasing the speed as and when you feel comfortable. By the time you are shredding correctly you should be playing the 16th notes at around 200 beats per second.

Over time your confidence will grow and you soon find that you are able to shred moving up and down the scales very quickly and can also sweep the pentatonic and arpeggios fast as well. It is a good idea to find a book or online course that can provide you with assistance in learning about diad's and also arpeggios.

4. As soon as you feel more confident and comfortable with your guitar playing now is the time to step outside of your comfort zone and begin to experiment when playing a particular piece. If you do find yourself making some mistakes then don't be too concerned about this because they may actually be the right notes you are playing although they may not sound like it initially.

If you wish to learn how to play an awesome guitar solo then when you are attempting to play something new you try those that contain simple melodies. What you may not realize is that just by repeating the same melody a number of times within a solo can help to make it far more memorable to those who are listening to what is being played. - 16738
